The Petrobras XXXIV was a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit (FPSO) that was converted from a tanker in 1997. The FPSO was deployed in the Barracuda and Caratinga oil fields from July 1997.

The ship was originally built in 1958 as Presidente Juscelino at the Verolme United Dockyards in Rotterdam for Petrobras . It was part of the FRONAPE program ( Frota Nacional de Petroleiros ) of Brazil , i. H. the establishment of a national tanker fleet and the largest ship in the fleet upon commissioning. The ship was almost 202 meters long. In 1968 the ship was renamed the Presidente Prudente de Moraes , named after Prudente de Morais , the third President of Brazil. In 1996, Braspetro Oil Services Co. took over the ship, renamed it Petrobras XXXIV and had it converted into a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Unit by 1997 . It was used in the Barracuda and Caratinga oil fields from July 1997.

On February 16, 2018, the ship was stranded in Alang for demolition .
