Petrorhagia candica is a species of the rock carnation genus ( Petrorhagia ) in the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae).

Petrorhagia candica is a perennial eyrie hemicryptophyte that reaches heights of 5 to 20 centimeters. The stem is glabrous or slightly glandular and downy. The inflorescence is loose. Bracts are not available. The calyx teeth are three-veined. The petals are edged and colored white, their nerves are sometimes pink. The seeds are smooth and black.

The flowering period extends from May to July.

Occurrence

Petrorhagia candica is endemic to Crete . The species grows in Phrygana and on clay surfaces at altitudes from 0 to 1350 meters.
