The Palatinate Bar Association is responsible for the Higher Regional Court of the Palatinate , as well as for the regional court districts of Frankenthal , Kaiserslautern , Landau and Zweibrücken . The current president is Thomas Seither . The chamber currently has five employees.

The seat was chosen because Zweibrücken had been the seat of important courts and administrative center since the Bavarian period 1814/16.
