Rectory in Salt

The rectory in Salz , a community in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld , was built in 1601. The rectory is still used today and also serves as a parish office. The house at Prälat-Paul-Bocklet-Platz 1 is a protected architectural monument .

The two-story building with a gable roof is solidly bricked on the ground floor and made of plastered timber- framing on the upper floor . It has a roofed portal with a coat of arms stone.

A special feature is the dancing linden tree in front of the rectory.
