Vicarage (Merkershausen)
The rectory in Merkershausen , a district of Bad Königshofen im Grabfeld , was built in 1584. The upper floor was built in 1773. The rectory has been used as such for a while in recent years. At times it was empty. The house at Oberen Gasse 3 is a protected architectural monument .
The massive ground floor of the two-story building with a half-hipped roof has Renaissance windows . A sandstone Madonna from around 1350 is attached to the north wall. On the property there is also an outbuilding from the 18th century and a courtyard gate with the year 1680.
