Rectory (Ostheim before the Rhön)
The Evangelical Lutheran rectory in Ostheim vor der Rhön , a town in the Lower Franconian district of Rhön-Grabfeld , was built in 1700 and a side wing was added in 1753. The rectory at Kirchstrasse 12 is a protected architectural monument .
The main wing of the building is two-story. It has a half- hipped roof in the south and a fully hipped roof in the north . The ground floor is solidly bricked, while the upper floor is a half-timbered construction. The single-storey side wing is a half-timbered building with a gable roof . The main entrance is in the transition area from the main wing to the side wing.
Not far from the rectory is the impressive Ostheim fortified church .
