Jadran Malkovich (* 1977 in Leverkusen ) is a German - Serbian actor and musical performer .

Life

Malkovich, who was born in Germany, moved back to Serbia with his family before he even started school. At the age of 14, Malkovich, who was interested in acting at an early age, decided to work professionally as an actor later. After graduating from school in Serbia, he returned to Germany at the end of the 1990s at the age of 21. After several years in Germany and another stopover in his Serbian homeland, he settled permanently in Great Britain in the mid-2000s , where he a. a. worked as a tennis instructor . He learned to act a. a. at the Actors Center London (Great Britain) and in various acting workshops.

Malkovich starred in TV series, films and various international TV productions. He had his first film role in a mini-appearance as a hostage in the British thriller 4.3.2.1 (2010). He took on other small cinema roles in Steven Spielberg's war epic Companions (2011) and in the British comedy Austenland (2013). In the episode film 50 Kisses (Great Britain, 2014) he was co-leading actor; he also played in several short films . In the US television miniseries 24: Live Another Day (2014) he had an episode role as a Russian mercenary . In October 2017, Malkovich was seen in the ZDF television series Rosamunde Pilcher in an episode role; he played John Jennings, the best friend of the late husband of a young English lady. Malkovich is also active as a director, screenwriter and filmmaker.

Jadran Malkovich also did the voice-over for the game trilogy Assassin's Creed Chronicles and was featured as a promotional actor in various campaigns, including a. for Nokia and for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Istanbul .

In 2015 Malkovich received his first musical role. In the German premiere of the musical Bodyguard in the Cologne Musical Dome , he took on the role of PR agent Sy Spector from November 2015; he was also the cover for the male lead of bodyguard Frank Farmer. From September 2017 to April 2018 he played the main male role in the musical Bodyguard at the performances in the SI-Centrum in Stuttgart .

Malkovich lives (as of October 2017) in London.
