Vicarage in Breitenthal, behind the parish church Heilig Kreuz

The Catholic rectory in Breitenthal , a municipality in the Günzburg district in the Bavarian administrative district of Swabia , was built in 1770 under the Roggenburg Imperial Prelate Georg Lienhardt . An extensive restoration was carried out between 2011 and 2012. Above all, the historic roof structure was renovated and the exterior facade was redesigned with fresco painting. The rectory at Neue Straße 1, northeast of the Heilig Kreuz parish church , is a protected architectural monument .

description

The two-storey solid building with a high hipped roof and five to five window axes is located on a terraced protrusion in a position that defines the townscape.

Only sparse remnants of the furnishings have been preserved: a mirrored ceiling with a stretched quatrefoil in the parish living room on the first floor.
