Interior of the parish church

The church is a late Gothic hall church , surrounded by a cemetery wall with four baroque initiation chapels .

The church has stepped buttresses on the nave and choir. The two western buttresses at the corners of the nave are placed across the corner. The Gothic windows have two lanes. Remains of painted friezes are still preserved under the roof and by the windows. Above the portal of the tower is a coat of arms of the Stubenberg. In the south there is a Gothic pointed arch portal, the north portal is walled up.

The three-bay choir was built around the middle of the 15th century. It has a five-eighth end and a ribbed vault with inscribed rhombuses on semicircular services, which run down to the surrounding cornice.

A constricted, ogival front arch connects the broad nave with the choir two steps higher. The two-aisled, three-bay hall church was built in 1467. The vault and pillars were removed as early as 1499. Master Christoph Marl from Rottenmann converted the nave into a three-aisled, horizontally divided hall with two rectangular yokes created by two central round pillars. The hall is vaulted with an irregular star rib vault on 3/4 circle services. The remarkable vault painting is dated 1499 and was uncovered in 1955. It shows tendril ornaments and an angel near the holy spirit . The three-axis west gallery rests on two round pillars, arched under by a ribbed vault and a star-ribbed vault. A shoulder arch portal leads to the gallery. It has a raised wooden parapet and a second wooden gallery.

The four-storey west tower with a transverse wedge roof is dated 1467. The bell house has a ribbed vault on consoles with coats of arms , dated 1499. In the northern corner of the tower there is an eight-sided stair tower.

The Gothic sacristy in the north of the choir has a ridge vault and a pointed arch portal with an iron-studded door. The sacristy in the south is a recent addition.
