history

architecture
The Gothic reticulated vaulted church from 1479 has a three-bay nave and a two-bay choir with a five-eighth end . With Christoph Zuccalli around 1651 (?) The church was extended by a south aisle and changed with a north and south portal and supplemented with porches on two Tuscan columns. The mighty late Gothic west tower with a bell house under a ribbed vault has an eight-sided pyramid roof, which was pulled down onto the four corners of the tower.
Furnishing
The late baroque high altar was created by the sculptor Peter Waibel from Schärding based on a design by the sculptor Joseph Matthias Götz from Passau. The side altars from 1771 contain works by the sculptor Matthias Kager from Schärding. Altar pictures in the rectory were created by Josef Mathias Ott (1770). The pulpit around 1770 bears a figure by Matthias Kager. The font bears a group of figures from the 1st half of the 18th century. The pictures of the Stations of the Cross were made around 1770. The sacristy door shows Gothic fittings. In the choir is a crucifix with Our Lady of Sorrows around 1715/1720, probably by the sculptor Johann Franz Schwanthaler . The preaching group in the oratory is designed in its own way. Statues of the four church fathers from around 1660 are in the nave niches.
