Church building

Church exterior

The church is a large-scale, high baroque country church. The church tower in the north-western corner of the nave is essentially Gothic, the belfry above is Baroque and the helmet with onion dome dates from 1806. The two-storey sacristy adjoins the north side. On the south side there is a chapel for the dead, a niche of the Mount of Olives with a spiral grating from the end of the 17th century and a vestibule.

Church interior

The single-nave nave is three-bay. Above it are Bohemian caps with drawn-in struts. The caps rest on double belts , which in turn rest on Ionic double pilasters . The retracted choir is single-bay and just closed. The sacristy is vaulted with net ribs on both floors . The oratorio was created in 1740.

Furnishing

The high altar dates from 1692. The figural parts probably come from the workshop of the Passau sculptor Johann Matthias Högenwald . The side altars were built in 1692 and 1693. The left side altar is a Marian altar with a Baroque Pietà in a carved glass shrine from the mid-18th century. The right side altar is dedicated to St. Peter . There is a neo-Gothic relief on it. The pulpit was built in 1692. Both the altars and the pulpit were renovated in 1887 and 1888. The Baroque Stations of the Cross are from the second third of the 18th century. The Mount of Olives figures in the Mount of Olives niche on the outside date from the first third of the 18th century.

organ

The organ case is from the end of the 18th century, the organs were made by Gregor Hradetzky .
