Hörzendorf parish church
The Roman Catholic parish church Hörzendorf is located in the Hörzendorf district in the municipality of Sankt Veit an der Glan in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia . history

architecture
The Gothic church building - with Romanesque masonry in the nave - was expanded in the west in the Baroque period and provided with an outer gallery staircase. The Gothic choir has two-tiered buttresses. The mighty Gothic tower on the south side of the choir with a baroque bell storey has an eight-sided, curved pointed helmet. A baroque chapel was built on the north side of the choir. The roofing consists of stone slabs.
The church is surrounded by a walled cemetery. Josef Pfefferle (1936) created a mosaic above the cemetery portal .
Furnishing
The high altar is a remarkable early Baroque retable with rich ornamentation from the first half of the 17th century.
