Parish Church Moosbach (Upper Austria)
The Roman Catholic parish church of Moosbach is located in Moosbach in the municipality of Moosbach in the Braunau am Inn district in Upper Austria . The church, consecrated to Saints Peter and New Year's Eve , belongs to the dean's office in Aspach in the diocese of Linz . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection .
history
A church was first mentioned in a document around 1070.
architecture
The single-nave three-bay nave is followed by a drawn-in, elevated one-bay choir with a five-eighth end . The vault ribs were removed and are shown painted today. The west tower was raised in 1766 and has a baroque onion helmet. The Gothic sacristy portal has a door with Gothic fittings.
Furnishing
The facility was built between 1902 and 1906. The pulpit is from 1670/1780.
To the south of the church are several relief and figurative gravestones, mostly from the 16th century. Noteworthy is a tombstone in the vestibule of W. Balthasar Türk, died 1709, with the bust of a priest.
