Parish church Obertraun

The Roman Catholic parish church of Obertraun is located in the municipality of Obertraun in the Gmunden district in Upper Austria . It is consecrated to the Most Holy Trinity and belongs to the pastoral care room Bad Goisern in the Dean's Office Bad Ischl . The church is a listed building .

history

The church was donated by Empress Maria Theresa in 1770 and built in 1771.

Church building

The church is a barrel-vaulted hall with a 3/8 choir. A roof turret was erected over the western side of the facade.

Furnishing

The statues on the high altar represent Saints Peter and Paul . They date from the second quarter of the 18th century. There are also two paintings in the church that depict St. Jerome and St. John the Baptist . According to the inscription on the back, it was painted by Johann Georg Dominikus Grasmair in 1740.
