The parish church Ort im Innkreis is located in the municipality of Ort im Innkreis in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Andreas - incorporated into the Reichersberg Abbey - belongs to the Altheim dean's office in the Linz diocese . The church and the cemetery with the cemetery wall are under monument protection .

history

A church was mentioned in a document in 1180. The Gothic church building was expanded in 1818/1819.

architecture

The single-aisled four-bay nave shows a gothic mesh rib vault in the three eaves to the east and a stitch cap vault in the western bay of the extension. The equally wide two-bay choir with a three-eighth end has a ribbed vault. The nave and choir have semicircular services. North of the nave is a new chapel extension. The choir and the south side of the nave show stepped buttresses. The choir has Gothic tracery windows. The tower in the northern corner of the choir was given a baroque style with a helmet and was given its present form in 1813. The gallery is above the sacristy with a flat ceiling with stucco from the middle of the 17th century.

Furnishing

The decor is neo-Gothic. The lecture cross is from the middle of the 18th century. A figural tombstone of Hans von Messenbach 1454 is in the north chapel.
