architecture

Church exterior

The west tower has an eight-sided attachment with a pear helmet. The church doors are richly decorated with cartilage. They come from Michael Littmann's time around 1684 .

Church interior

The church has a wide, single nave nave with four bay bays. Above it is a barrel vault with stitch caps . On both sides there are three deep altar or entrance niches formed by retracted pillars. The one-bay choir is drawn in and barrel vaulted. It closes in a rounded 3/8 end. In the vault zone there are stucco work in the Rococo style from around 1770. They are comparable to the stucco in the church in Raitenhaslach in Bavaria . On the triumphal arch from 1697 is a three-axis west gallery with bandwork stucco.

Furnishing

The high altar was built by Michael Littmann between 1699 and 1701. The figures and the decor come from the sculptor Ferdinand Oxner . The overpainted altarpiece is by Friedrich Degär . The tabernacle is kept in the Rococo style and was created in 1769 with good figures by the sculptor Johann Andrä Dietrich von Traunstein. The right side altar, the so-called Marienaltar , was created between 1765 and 1766. It is an excellent Rococo work, possibly by the sculptor Johann Georg Lindt . In the middle is a good Gothic statue of Our Lady from 1510. The superstructures of the other side altars probably date from the 19th century and were built in baroque forms. Two altarpieces were created around 1700 and were later painted over. The statues are from the 18th century. The pulpit is rococo. It was created with four good statues of the evangelists in 1761 by Johann Georg Lindt from Burghausen . The choir stalls are from 1689. The confessionals were made two years earlier. Both were built by Michael Littmann. The baptismal font is late Gothic. In and around the church there are tombstones from the 15th to the 18th century.

The organ was created in 1840. The case is shaped like a Greek temple.
