The parish church Persenbeug is in the east of the village Persenbeug in the market town of Persenbeug-Gottsdorf in the Melk district in Lower Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church , consecrated to the feast of Mary Queen of All Saints (Regina sanctorum omnium, May 31st) belongs to the deanery Maria Taferl in the diocese of St. Pölten .

history

The church was built according to the plans of the architect Josef Patzelt and consecrated in 1985. The new building replaced the current market chapel Persenbeug as a parish church.

architecture

The hall building over the shape of a Greek cross has three-lane windows reaching down to the floor and a high roof over corner supports. The free-standing bell tower stands in the west.

The interior of the church shows itself with an exposed roof truss.

Furnishing

The decor with glass paintings, apse mosaic and the stations of the cross was created by the painter Robert Herfert .
