Catholic parish church hl. Antony in Raiding

The Roman Catholic parish church Raiding is in the center of the village of Raiding in the market town of Raiding in Burgenland . The parish church of St. Antonius belongs to the deanery Deutschkreutz in the diocese of Eisenstadt . The church is a listed building .

history

The nave was built in 1927 in place of a previous church, the existing church tower and the choir were preserved.

architecture

The nave has three bays. The retracted choir with a three-eighth closure has a groin vault.

Furnishing

The decor is modern.

A bell was cast by Friedrich Seltenhofer in Oedenburg in 1846 .

At the bridge in front of the church there is a wayside shrine with a stone figure of St. Johannes Nepomuk , marked 1743 on the base. A wayside shrine St. Donatus , also from 1743, is in the new cemetery.
