The old parish church of St. Ulrich is a Catholic church building, which is located on the northern mountain slope on the eastern edge of the village of Zell-Pfarre ( Sele-Cerkev ) in the municipality of Zell .

The church was first mentioned in a document in 1364. Today's late Gothic church building, which is surrounded by a cemetery , was erected in the second half of the 15th century and expanded and rebuilt in the 18th century.

The building has a recessed, polygonal choir with two-tier buttresses and has southern extensions. The west tower takes up almost the entire width of the nave (from which it protrudes) and has ogival sound openings and a pointed roof. An elongated, partially bricked porch with a gable roof is in front of the pointed arched west portal from the construction period. The door of the west portal has Gothic fittings. All roofs are covered with wooden boards. There are whitewashed remains of frescoes on the south-eastern outer wall of the choir.

The ground floor of the tower is gratgewölbt, the east beveled pointed arch erected by the 1791 western gallery is walled in half. The gallery itself, which is provided with a wooden parapet, has a groin vault, rests on stone baluster pillars and is protruding in the middle. The nave is barrel vaulted with crisscrossing ridges and two short stitch caps . A southern arched opening in the nave leads into a polygonal, vaulted chapel room, which supposedly dates from 1751. The triumphal arch, with now exposed, whitewashed remains of frescoes, is ogival and chamfered.

The one- bay choir from the construction period ends in a 5/8 end . The choir has a ribbed vault resting on circular services , the ribs of which were originally polychromed. The two keystones of the vault show a painted rosette and a painted cross. A chamfered southern portal leads into the flat-roofed Gothic sacristy .

Above the high altar cafeteria there is a baroque tabernacle and a candlestick angel from the mid-18th century. Three statues of saints (Ulrich, Petrus and Paulus) date from the year 1879. The Marien Altar and the pulpit were mentioned in documents in 1752 and come from Johann Georg Weidner.
