history

architecture

The two-bay choir has a three-eighth end and stepped buttresses. The three-aisled, three-bay nave has a barrel-vaulted central nave and side aisles with flat ceilings. In the central nave and in the choir, the Gothic vaults were changed in Baroque style. The west tower shows the year 1594 and a tracery as an echo of the tower of the parish church Braunau am Inn , the eight-sided top with onion and lantern is baroque.

Furnishing

The high altar from 1778–1780 as well as the side altars were made according to a design by Franz Jakob Schwanthaler in the workshop of his father Johann Peter Schwanthaler the Elder. The high altar sheet and the side altar sheets were painted by Christian Wink (1781). The classical pulpit is from the end of the 18th century.

Josef Stephan (1751) painted the Stations of the Cross. There is a coat of arms tombstone for Hans Chammer from the 15th century.
