history

The construction period from 1708 to 1712 is documented. The consecration was in 1713. In 1891 the church was elevated to a parish church. In 1972 the original painting on the outside of the choir was exposed.

architecture

The simple baroque parish church is surrounded by a cemetery. A gallery yoke was added to the originally three-bay nave in the west in 1852. The one-yoke choir has a 3/8 end. It is vaulted with a needle cap barrel with stucco ribbons on the vault edges. A round-arched triumphal arch connects the nave and choir. The vault painting from 1859 shows angels in the choir, and in the nave in a large field of view the torture of St. Lawrence and ornamental paintings. The tower on the north side of the choir with ogival sound windows, keel arched gables and an onion dome with a lantern was built in 1829. On the west facade there is a figure niche with the figure of Saint Laurentius by the sculptor Andreas Kölle from the first half of the 18th century.

Furnishing

The high altar with parts from the 17th century was changed in the 18th century and named privilegatum 1744 . The altar panel shows the glory of St. Lawrence by the painter Philipp Jakob Greil from 1782. The figures are attributed to Andreas Kölle (mid-18th century). The side altars also date from the middle of the 18th century, the left side altar with a Pietà from the 17th century and the statues Peter and Paul by Andreas Kölle, the right side altar shows the altar sheet Adoration of the Magi from the 17th century and the statues of Saints Vincent and Aloysius.

The pulpit was built around 1710 with statuettes of the four evangelists, attributed to Andreas Kölle, the sound cover from the second quarter of the 18th century. There is a canvas painting Last Judgment by Philipp Jakob Greil from the third quarter of the 18th century from the cemetery chapel and a classical group of guardian angels.
