Andreas Kölle

Andreas Kölle (born November 28, 1680 in Fendels , † 1755 ) was an Austrian baroque sculptor.

Life

Kölle received his training with Johann Paul Tschiderer in Donauwörth until 1702 , after which he returned to his homeland. From 1705 to 1711 he went on a hike. He ran a workshop in Fendels and created numerous late baroque figures for churches in the Tyrolean Oberland  and Vorarlberg , and worked several times for the Stams monastery  . Joseph Deutschmann was one of his students .
