Parish church Thiersee-Landl
The Thiersee-Landl parish church is located in the village of Landl in the Thiersee municipality in the Kufstein district in the state of Tyrol . The Roman Catholic parish church , consecrated on the feast of Mariahilf , belongs to the Kufstein deanery of the Archdiocese of Salzburg . The church and the cemetery are under monument protection ( list entry ).
history
The late baroque church building from 1794/1795 was consecrated in 1824 and elevated to a parish church in 1891.
architecture
The nave under a gable roof that is hipped to the west has a slightly protruding tower in the western front. The tower has a bell storey set off by a cornice with arched sound openings and a pressed onion helmet. The retracted polygonal closing choir has transverse oval windows.
The interior of the church shows a nave under a shallow barrel and two window axes, the one-bay choir closes with a three-eighth end. Sebastian Anton Defregger painted the ceiling paintings in 1817, in the choir of the Birth of Mary and the Four Evangelists, in the nave the Annunciation, an angel appears to Joseph, Adoration of the Shepherds, Adoration of the Magi, Assumption of Mary, Queen of Heaven with a view of Landl, medallions Guardian Angel and Abraham sacrifices Isaac.
Furnishing
The furnishings were created in the first quarter of the 19th century, in a Baroque style with Empire elements, the altarpieces were painted by Sebastian Anton Defregger. The high altar shows the altarpiece Mariahilf and bears the statues Anna, Joachim, Peter and Paul. The left side altar shows the image of the Crucifixion and carries the statues of the weather saints Paul and John. The right side altar shows the image of the Baptism of Christ and bears the statues of Nicholas and New Year's Eve.
The organ was built by Franz Mauracher in 1921.
