The Treffling parish church is located in the community of Engerwitzdorf in the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria . The Roman Catholic parish church of Christ the Risen belongs to the Deanery Gallneukirchen in the Diocese of Linz . The church is a listed building ( list entry ).
history
Immediately after the Second World War, the construction of a church in Treffling on the Wagner level was planned, but not yet implemented. Master carpenter Wenzel Wagner already made the altar, which is now in Neusserling .
The project only became concrete in 1991. According to plans by Haslach architect Josef Schütz, the church was built between 1994 and 1995 and consecrated by Bishop Maximilian Aichern on November 25, 1995 . The interior design comes from the artist Herbert Friedl .
