Parish church Unterpullendorf
The Roman Catholic parish church Unterpullendorf ( Croatian Crkva sv. Bartolomeja ) is located in the village of Unterpullendorf ( Dolnja Pulja , Hungarian Alsópulya , Romani Telutni Pulja ) in the municipality of Frankenau-Unterpullendorf in the Oberpullendorf district in Burgenland . It is consecrated to St. Bartholomew and belongs to the Croatian deanery in Großwarasdorf .
history
The parish has existed since the Middle Ages. The current church was built in 1905.
Architecture and equipment
The large neo-Gothic church was built in 1905; the facility is from the year of construction. Two wooden figures from the 18th century represent Saints Peter and Paul . Also from the 18th century there is a figure of Johannes Nepomuk on the north wall of the ship and a wooden crucifix under the gallery. The bell was cast in 1787 by Johann Koechel from Ödenburg .
