Phalawda (also Phalauda ) is a small town in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
It is located in the Meerut district 25 kilometers north -northeast of the district capital Meerut and 90 km northeast of the federal capital New Delhi . The city was founded on May 22, 1885. The population of Phalawda was just under 20,000 in the 2011 census.
