Matthew Giuffre (born June 8, 1982 in Edmonton ) is a retired Canadian squash player .

Career

Matthew Giuffre played on the PSA World Tour from 2002 to 2010 and won two tournaments. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with 38th place in August 2006.

With the Canadian national team , he took part in the World Cup in 2005 and 2007 . For Canada, he entered the World Games in 2005 and was eliminated in the first round in three sets against Peter Nicol . At the Commonwealth Games 2006 he was also part of the Canadian squad. In the individual he failed in the round of 16, again to Peter Nicol. He also reached the round of 16 in doubles with Shawn Delierre and in mixed with Runa Reta . In 2007 he was Canadian runner-up behind Shahier Razik .
