Runa Reta (born December 14, 1980 in Ottawa ) is a former Canadian squash player .

Career

Runa Reta played on the WSA World Tour from 2001 to 2012 , where she won two titles. She reached her highest place in the world rankings with rank 29 in October 2007. At the Pan American Games in 2007 she won the bronze medal in the individual as well as gold with the team. With the Canadian national team , she took part in world championships in 2004 , 2006 and 2008 . At World Championships in singles, she reached the peloton through qualification in 2004 and 2007 , but was eliminated in the first round. She was Canadian national champion in 2009 .

From 2012 to 2016 she worked as a trainer in Bermuda , for which she was also eligible to play at the Caribbean Championships in 2015 and was second behind Karen Meakins .
