Phare de Sauzon is the name of a lighthouse on the island of Belle-Île , part of the French commune of Sauzon in the Morbihan department . It has a range of 8 nautical miles .
The lighthouse is located on the western breakwater , about 1.5 nautical miles south of the Poine des Poulains and began its service on August 15, 1859. It is not guarded and cannot be viewed.
