Phek is a city in the Indian state of Nagaland .

The city is the capital of the Phek district . Phek has the status of a Town Committee . The city is divided into 11 wards . It had 14,204 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census, of whom 7,975 were men and 6,229 women. Christians make up the majority of the city's population with a share of over 84%. Hindus form a minority of over 13%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 89.1%, well above the national average. 82.8% belong to the Scheduled Tribes .
