Philip Blenkinsop
Philip Blenkinsop (born March 11, 1965 in Great Britain ) is an Australian photographer who has lived and worked in Asia since 1989 .
Life
Blenkinsop's themes include the forgotten wars in Southeast Asia, which he has photographed and documented over the past 20 years. These include the war for independence from East Timor , tribal wars and cannibalism on Borneo and also the fate of the Hmong people who remained in Laos , who were recruited by the USA as helpers during the Vietnam War and were forgotten there.
In recent years Blenkinsop has dealt with China, among other things : the dam on the Yangtze River and its effects and the victims of the Sichuan earthquake .
