Philip Ndoo

Philip Ndoo (born September 3, 1946 , † February 2, 2005 ) was a Kenyan long-distance runner .

At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 he finished seventh in 28: 42.82 minutes over 10,000 m and came in 15th in the marathon in 2:22:40 hours.

From 1973 to 1975 he studied at Eastern New Mexico University , in whose Athletics Hall of Honors he was inducted in 2002, and then became director of sport at the Kenyan newspaper Daily Nation .

In 1976 he qualified second in the Kenyan elimination race in 2:17:26 h for the marathon of the Olympic Games , but prevented the Olympic boycott of Kenya, against which he protested sharply, a start.
