Philip Still

Philip Noch (born April 1, 1989 in Braunschweig ) is a former German - Polish basketball player. The two-meter-tall winger made Bundesliga appearances for Braunschweig and Göttingen during his career .

career

Still, whose parents come from the Polish city of Płock and who have both German and Polish citizenship, learned to play basketball from the age group U14 in the youth department of SG FT / MTV Braunschweig. At the age of 17 he was appointed to the Braunschweig first division squad by trainer Emir Mutapcic . He celebrated his Bundesliga debut on January 13, 2007 in a duel with Alba Berlin . By 2015 he had a total of 15 Bundesliga games for Braunschweig and also strengthened the Lower Saxony youth development team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB .

In 2011 Noch moved to state rivals BG Göttingen . For the "Veilchen" he played 34 Bundesliga games in the 2011/12 season with an average of 3.7 points per match. He also competed with the BG in the European Cup. After the end of the 2011/12 season he retired from the professional field and played for SG MTV / BG Wolfenbüttel in the first regional league the following year.

National team

Noch took part in the 2006 and 2007 European Championships with the German U18 national team. In 2008 he was appointed to the U20 team.
