Philipp Wolfrum Competition

The Philipp Wolfrum Competition is an international organ competition in memory of the Heidelberg General Music Director Philipp Wolfrum (1854-1919). It takes place every four years and was first held in 2004 on the occasion of Philipp Wolfrum's 150th birthday. The competition is organized by the University of Church Music in Heidelberg , which goes back to Wolfrum, and the City of Heidelberg Cultural Office, as well as other sponsors. The valuation games are held on the organs of St. Peter's Church and the town hall . The mayor of Heidelberg, Eckart Würzner , is the patron .Template: future / in 2 years
