Philipp Hägeli

Philipp Hägeli (born May 5, 1979 in Männedorf , Switzerland ) is a Swiss musical performer .

Life

Born in Switzerland, he began his musical training at the Impuls workshop in his home town of Stäfa, and later studied singing, dance and acting at a private musical school in Vienna for three years. His first engagements were a. Leading Ladies / Leading Men at the Raimund Theater in Vienna and You're a good man, Charlie Brown at the Metropol in Vienna . He repeated his success as the lively dog ​​Snoopy in two other productions (Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown! And Happy Valentine's Day, Charlie Brown!). Philipp came to Germany in 2002 for the Essen production of Elisabeth (musical) . Since then, the versatile singer and dancer has appeared in various Stage Entertainment productions: Les Misérables (musical) in Berlin (premiere cast Swing, Grantaire), Tanz der Vampire (musical) in Hamburg (Swing, Chagal, Koukol, Nightmare Solo), and as a previous personal highlight, the tour production by CATS (Plato / Macavity, Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger). In the summer of 2006, Philipp worked in his home country for the first time. At Elisabeth der Thunerseespiele he worked as Graf Grünne, Rauscher, and assistant choreographer before he was hired again for Tanz der Vampire in Berlin, this time as an alternate Krolock, Koukol and Nightmare solo.

In the spring of 2008, Philipp took part in the TV talent show Ich Tarzan, Du Jane! part, in the course of which Germany was looking for the leading roles for Disney's Tarzan . Philipp reached second place and thus secured the second occupation of the Tarzan from October in the new Flora Hamburg. From July 2008 Philipp played the main role Bernardo in the new production of the musical West Side Story at the Thunerseespiele in Switzerland.
