Philipp Heinrich Bökler

Philipp Heinrich Bökler (born December 15, 1718 in Strasbourg ; † 1759 ) was a doctor, anatomist and professor of medicine in Strasbourg. He was a member of the scholars' academy " Leopoldina ."

Philipp Heinrich Bökler studied medicine in Strasbourg. There he received his doctorate in medicine. In 1741 he published a paper on ten controversial topics in medicine in Strasbourg. He became an associate professor of medicine in Strasbourg. He was an anatomist, surgeon and pathologist. He was born on August 20, 1755 under the academic surname HERACLIDES III. accepted into the scholars' academy “Leopoldina” ( matriculation no. 597 ). His denomination was probably Lutheran . Bökler probably died in Strasbourg in 1759.
