Philipp Heinrich Friedlieb (* 1603 in Osnabrück ; † September 10, 1663 in Stralsund ) was a German theologian.

Life

Philipp Heinrich Friedlieb was the son of the Osnabrück city judge Jodokus Friedlieb. He was matriculated at the University of Greifswald in 1624 and received his master's degree a year later.

In 1627 Friedlieb was appointed full professor of logic and metaphysics in Greifswald and remained in this office for two years.

In October 1630 he married Mar. Schlamann. In the same year he moved to Stralsund and received the pastorate at St. Jakobi .

In 1632 Friedlieb obtained a theological license from the University of Rostock - and in 1637 a doctorate.

In 1659 Friedlieb became superintendent in Stralsund. A year later he married Gertrud Erhorn for the second time.
