Philipp Heithölter (born August 28, 1982 in Herford ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Heithölter, who grew up in Herford, played at SV Sundern 08 and then at SC Herford until he moved to the upper division Fichte Bielefeld in 2002 . A year later he moved to the larger local rival Arminia Bielefeld .

With the then second division Arminia he was substituted on four times in his first professional season 2003/04 , with the reserve he was champion of the Oberliga Westfalen . In the following season he played 19 regional league games for the second team. This rose in 2005 from the league, whereupon Heithölter was loaned together with Henning Grieneisen to the northern regional division Holstein Kiel .

After Kiel's relegation to the league (2007), Heithölter switched to Rot Weiss Ahlen . From July 2009 to June 2011 he played for the second division club SC Paderborn 07 . After that, Heithölter completed a trial training with Arminia Bielefeld from September 2011, but was not obliged due to a lack of financial resources. In January 2012, Heithölter finally signed a new contract in Bielefeld, after having trained with Arminia for almost the entire season. After an operation on the Achilles tendon and persistent complaints, he missed the entire 2012/13 season . Also in the following season he was no longer used. His contract expired in the summer of 2014, after which he ended his career.

Since February 2017 he has been working as a video analyst and scout at Arminia Bielefeld after completing an apprenticeship in office management and communication.
