Henning Grieneisen (born September 9, 1984 in Arolsen, today Bad Arolsen ) is a German football player .
Career
In youth Grieneisen played at VfB Salzkotten in Westphalia Salzkotten and from 1997 at Arminia Bielefeld . From 2003 to 2005 he played in the second team of Arminia, with which he rose to the regional league in 2004. In the 2004/05 season he also came to an employment in the first division team of the club: On the second day of the game he was substituted in the 1-0 win at Hannover 96 in the 90th minute when the score was 1-0 for Delron Buckley .
After Bielefeld amateurs were relegated back into the league in 2005, Grieneisen was appointed in the Regionalliga Nord playing Holstein Kiel borrowed. In 2006 the Kiel firm signed him completely.
For the 2007/08 season Henning Grieneisen moved to the second division VfL Osnabrück . 2008/09 he was relegated with the team. Although VfL was initially interested in a contract extension, no agreement was initially reached. It was not until August 28, 2009, and thus immediately before the 6th match day, that both sides were able to agree on a new contract. A few weeks later he scored the 3: 3 equalizer in the second round of the DFB Cup against the then leaders Hamburger SV despite a torn ligament in his left knee in the 116th minute and thus saved VfL from being eliminated. Osnabrück won the following penalty shootout and later made it to the quarterfinals. In the further course of the season, Grieneisen was only used sporadically as a substitute. VfL managed to get up again immediately, but Grieneisen was removed from the squad for the following season and a change of club was suggested to him.
At the end of August 2010, Grieneisen moved to the second team of SV Werder Bremen . At the beginning of August 2011, he switched to VfL Sportfreunde Lotte . In the summer of 2015, Grieneisen went to the newly promoted state league TuS Bersenbrück .
