Philipp Jakob Bischoff

Philipp Jakob Bischoff (born June 6, 1889 in Calw , † March 27, 1959 in Dettingen an der Erms ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

After completing his teacher training, Philipp Jakob Bischoff worked as the rector in Dettingen an der Erms . After his retirement he became an honorary managing director of the Bible Association .

Bischoff joined the CDU after the Second World War . In 1946/47 he was a member of the Advisory State Assembly of the State of Württemberg-Hohenzollern . In 1947 he became chairman of the CDU district association for the Reutlingen district . He held this office until 1952.
