Philipp Klaus Sattler

Philipp Klaus Sattler (born September 4, 1923 in Munich ; † December 5, 2006 ) was a German electrical engineer and university professor.

Sattler graduated from the Wilhelmsgymnasium in Munich in 1942 .

From April 1963 until his retirement in October 1988 he was professor for electrical machines at RWTH Aachen University .

He was also deputy chairman from 1976 to 1977 and chairman of the VDE Energy Technology Society from 1978 to 1988.
