Philipp Ludwig Böhmer
Philipp Ludwig Böhmer (born August 14, 1666 in Hanover , † March 31, 1735 in Celle ) was a German Lutheran theologian and general superintendent of the general dioceses of Göttingen , Calenberg and Lüneburg-Celle .
Life
Böhmer, son of the secret secretary Böhmer in Celle, studied theology and taught as a professor at the University of Helmstedt . In 1701 he became the first pastor at the St. Johannis Church in Göttingen , professor at the pedagogy and general superintendent of Göttingen, in 1708 pastor and collegiate senior in Wunstorf and general superintendent of the general diocese of Calenberg. In 1726 he was called to Celle as the first pastor of the city church and general superintendent of the general diocese of Lüneburg-Celle.
