Philipp Ludwig Stangl
Philipp Ludwig Stangl (* 1979 in Lindau ) is a German composer and video artist .
Life
Philipp Stangl studied from 1999 to 2005 at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen with Peter Herborn and Dietrich Hahne . From 2007 to 2012 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Bern as a composer and video artist . He also taught as a lecturer at the Folkwang University from 2009–2012. In 2012 he was appointed professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim .
Work
His works include numerous compositions for drama , modern dance, chamber music for ensembles, works for formations of improvised music, intermedia works and installations with live electronics as well as numerous video works for the stage.
