Dušan Perniš (born November 28, 1984 in Nitra , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak football player .

Career

Dušan Perniš began his professional career as an 18-year-old at ZŤS Dubnica , where he sat on the bench and worked his way up to the goalkeeper within a few months. In 2004/05 Dubnica was third in the table with him, which is the best placement in the history of the club to this day. After that, Perniš, whose nickname Perník literally means gingerbread, moved to MŠK Žilina , where he was only a replacement for Dušan Kuciak . He was then awarded first to FC Senec in 2006 and then to his old club ZŤS Dubnica, which then took him back under contract. In January 2010, he moved to Dundee United in Scotland and won the Cup in his first season. For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Polish first division club and promoted team Pogoń Szczecin . He later played for ŠK Slovan Bratislava and FC Nitra before moving to Greece for Iraklis Thessaloniki .

With the Slovak national team he qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa . There he was the third goalkeeper behind Ján Mucha and Dušan Kuciak.
