Philipp Maeder

Philipp Maeder (born March 11, 1959 , † August 10, 2011 in Gassin , France ) was a Swiss polo player and real estate dealer. Maeder became final for embezzlement in the tens of millions and other offenses sentenced .

Career

Maeder came to the horses through his wife. When he got bored with riding, he tried polo at the age of 45.

He rode for Maybach at the Polo World Cup on Snow in St. Moritz in 2009 , and in 2010 he was the patron of the Maserati team .

On August 10, 2011, at the age of 52, he died of a heart attack while playing polo in Saint-Tropez .

Maeder was a father of four.
