Philipp Malicsek (born June 3, 1997 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Malicsek began his career at AKA Admira Wacker Mödling. In 2014 he played for the regional league team for the first time. He made his professional debut on matchday 14, 2014/15 against FC Red Bull Salzburg .

For the 2016/17 season he switched to league rivals SK Rapid Wien , where he received a contract that was valid until June 2019. In January 2018 it was awarded to the league competitor SKN St. Pölten .

In January 2019 he was demoted to Rapid's amateurs. It was also announced that his contract will not be extended after the 2018/19 season. He then moved to the second division Floridsdorfer AC in February 2019 . He left the FAC after the 2018/19 season.

After half a year without a club, he moved to second division club FC Blau-Weiß Linz in February 2020 , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2020. After the 2019/20 season, he left Linz after 13 appearances in the second division.

Personal

His brother Lukas (* 1999) is also a soccer player and has been playing for SV Horn since 2019 .
