Lukas Malicsek (born June 6, 1999 in Vienna ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
society
Malicsek started his career at ASC Götzendorf . In 2009 he joined the youth team of FC Admira Wacker Mödling . After playing at the Admira Academy, he made his debut for the amateurs in the Regionalliga in May 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Marvin Trost on matchday 29 of the 2015/16 season against SV Schwechat in the 59th minute.
After only two games for the second team, he made his professional debut for Admira in July 2016, when he was in the starting line-up and played through in the cup game against Dornbirner SV . In April 2017, Malicsek finally made his debut in the Bundesliga when he came on as a substitute for Daniel Toth on matchday 30 of the 2016/17 season against SCR Altach in the 49th minute .
For the 2019/20 season he was awarded to the second division club SV Horn . During the loan he made 24 appearances for Horn in the 2nd division .
National team
Malicsek made his debut against Montenegro for the Austrian U-17 selection in August 2015 . With this he also took part in the European Championship in 2016 , in which they failed in the quarter-finals to Portugal . Malicsek was used in three of the four Austrian games during the tournament.
In September 2016 he played against Belgium for the U-18 team for the first time . In August 2017 he made his first appearance for the U-19 team against Norway . In March 2019 he played against Norway for the first time for the U-20 team .
In September 2019 he made his debut against Andorra for the U-21 team .
Personal
His brother Philipp (* 1997) is also a soccer player.
