Emanuel Aiwu (born December 25, 2000 ) is an Austrian - Nigerian soccer player .

Career

Aiwu started his career at SKN St. Pölten . In 2013 he joined the youth team at FC Admira Wacker Mödling , where he later played in the academy. In September 2017 he made his debut for the Admira amateurs in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against ASK-BSC Bruck / Leitha on matchday six of the 2017/18 season. Up until the winter break of that season, there were nine more missions for the Admira's second team.

As a result, Aiwu was in the professional squad for the first time against FC Red Bull Salzburg in February 2018 . He finally made his Bundesliga debut in May 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against FK Austria Wien on matchday 33 .

National team

Aiwu was appointed to the squad of the Austrian U-18 team for the first time in 2018 . He made his debut for them in March 2018 when he started a friendly against Ukraine and was replaced by Marco Kadlec in the 80th minute .

In August 2018 he made his debut against Cyprus for the U-19 team . In the game that Austria won 4-0, he also scored his first goal for an Austrian selection. In March 2019 he played against Norway for the first time for the U-20 team . He made his debut for the U-21 team against Turkey in October 2019 .
