Tomislav Tomić (born November 16, 1990 in Mostar ) is a Bosnian football player .

Career

society

Tomić started his career at NK Široki Brijeg . His debut for the professionals of Široki Brijeg in the Premijer Liga he made in November 2008 when he was substituted on on the 15th matchday of the 2008/09 season against NK Posušje in the 89th minute for Stanko Bubalo . This should remain his only use for the professionals. In the winter break of the 2009/10 season he was awarded for two and a half years to the second division club NK GOŠK Gabela . With Gabela he rose in 2011 to the Premijer Liga. In the 2011/12 season he came to 28 appearances in the top Bosnian league, in which he scored two goals. After the end of the loan, he did not return to Brijeg, but switched to league rivals FK Željezničar Sarajevo .

In his first season with the capital club, he was promptly champion with the club. In the championship season 2012/13 he came to 15 missions in which he scored a goal. By the championship title he took with Željezničar in the following season also in the qualification for the UEFA Champions League , in which you failed directly in the second round to Viktoria Pilsen . In the 2013/14 season Tomić made 25 league appearances and scored three times. However, he finished the season with the defending champion only in fourth place. As a result, they took part in the qualifying for the UEFA Europa League in the 2014/15 season , in which they lost to FK Metalurg Skopje in the second round . In the 2014/15 season he made 13 appearances in the Premijer Liga and scored three goals again. In 2014/15 he was runner-up with Željezničar.

For the 2015/16 season he moved to Greece to Skoda Xanthi . With the Greeks, however, he played no role and did not come to a single league use. He then returned to Bosnia in January 2016 and joined the HŠK Zrinjski Mostar . With the club from his hometown he celebrated his second championship title at the end of the season; for Mostar he came to eleven missions by the end of the season. In qualifying for the Champions League, he lost with the Legia Warsaw club . In the 2016/17 season he was able to defend the title with Zrinjski Mostar; Tomić contributed five hits in 30 missions.

For the 2017/18 season he moved abroad for a second time, this time to Slovenia for NK Olimpija Ljubljana . With the capital city club he won the championship title in his first season. In his first season in the 1st SNL he made 32 appearances. In qualifying for the Champions League, he failed with Ljubljana in the first round to Qarabağ Ağdam , whereupon they switched to qualifying for the Europa League. There was only in the playoff against Spartak Trnava terminus. In the 2018/19 season he made 31 appearances in the top Slovenian league and was runner-up with his club. In the 2019/20 season he made 34 appearances in the 1st SNL and finished the season with Olimpija in third.

After his contract in Slovenia ended, he moved to Austria for the 2020/21 season to FC Admira Wacker Mödling , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 2023.

National team

Tomić made his debut for the Bosnian national team in January 2018 when he started a friendly against the USA and was replaced by Marijan Ćavar at half-time .
