Marco Hausjell (born June 6, 1999 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Hausjell started his career at 1. SC Felixdorf . In 2009 he joined the youth team of FC Admira Wacker Mödling , where he later played in the academy.

He made his debut for the Admira amateurs in September 2016 when he started against SKN St. Pölten Juniors on matchday six of the 2016/17 season and was replaced by Florian Fischerauer in the 75th minute .

After more than 15 games for the amateurs, he was in the professional squad for the first time in February 2018 against FC Red Bull Salzburg . In the same month he also made his debut in the Bundesliga when he started against SK Rapid Wien on matchday 22 of the 2017/18 season. He scored his first Bundesliga goal in the 69th minute of the game to make it 1-0.

For the 2019/20 season he switched to second division club SV Horn on loan . After the 2019/20 season, he initially did not return to Admira because his contract in Maria Enzersdorf had not been extended. After Admira had received a new sports director in Franz Wohlfahrt , Hausjell's contract was finally extended in August 2020 and he received a two-year contract.
